Helpful Information

• Along with all the special moments, we suggest adding yearly portraits to your album. From three year old toddlers beginning pre-school,  five and seven year old youth, ten and twelve year old pre-teens,and through middle school as your child is changing. Thirteen is a picture opportunity welcoming the teenage years.  Sweet sixteen is a landmark portrait time.  Then, in the blink of an eye, eighteen marks high school senior pictures/portraits.  Next comes college graduation pictures and business professional portraits. Not too far up the road are engagement pictures, romantic images, bridal portraits and weddings.  Special gatherings are always a good time for a generation portrait, family portrait and grandparents with their grandchildren and cousins.  We always welcome your beloved family pets in your family portraits.  Pet sessions are fun with children, adults or individually. 
   
• If you were not photographed often as a child try to do more with your children. Celebrate how loved and special they are. The best time of day for your child is the best time for your photo session appointment.  There is never a wrong year to have your child photographed.  Every stage of life is important- even those wonderful toothless grins. Make it a priority in your life to capture beautiful portrait images of those you love, and you will never regret it.
   
• Not only do quality portraits serve as treasured family heirlooms; they also add a warm,custom, personal touch to your home’s interior design.
   
• In our studio we offer a wide variety of backdrops, chairs, props and drapes for images with either treasured classical natural window light or studio lighting for the desired look you want.  Just outside the door, our unique onsite portrait park has at least 30 portrait areas.  There are almost unlimited options at the studio for pregnancy, newborns, babies, children, teen, senior, family, business, individuals and pet photography. The dressing room allows you space to spread out and plan your clothing changes.  Photography by Melinda is known for patience, allowing as much time as necessary for each photo session.  Ours is a comfortable place allowing you to be yourself.
   
• We also go to beautiful, favorite locations around the central Indiana area.  Keep in mind that in the mid-west we are able to photograph comfortably outside beginning late April, when the trees bloom, through early November, when the leaves fall, but we also enjoy our occassional snowfalls. Selecting the right photographer saves time and heartbreak.
